Met up with my jc classmates (although its just a few of them). =) I'm the only one in the class who has started working while the rest are still studying!!!! Many of them are studying masters or phd. I feel so old among them haha. Really glad that they have attained gd results in their degrees.

They seem to be able to achieve things they want in life. Studying seems like a breeze to them. They don't go for job prospects, they go for their interests. This has always been something i admire them about. 行行出状元。

None of us went back for Hwachong MAF this year. Last year was already quite disappointing with a handful of us. This year was even worse when half the class is at overseas and the other half studying in singapore having quizzes in the following wk. I seem to be the most free of all hahahaha. Sometimes working life rocks!

I'm really happy for my friend who is leaving DT on this friday. I wouldn't say that the remaining people in DT are survivors. I would say they just don't mind doing audit more than those who have left. Hope the grass outside is greener for you =) Haiz you will be missed. 1 less friend in office for me :(

This fri Toto $8mil. Woohoo...

The past week was probably the best week in DT. Nothing beats core training. Not even being unassigned. Maybe MC beats it.

Argh tmr is my violin exam. Still not confident, should be able to pass i hope but defnitely won't score a distinction.

DT Table tennis team continued to win the table tennis championship for the 11th year. Sensitive issue, so its not wise of me to comment much in a public blog.

We were invited by guowei to hall 6 dnd. Nice theme : victorian era although thousands of dnd had used this theme before. Had to applaud the 'Six-ians' for their effort in dressing up. Didn't win lucky draw as usual. Nice to catch up with some old friend who are still in hall. Its gd to be so young. I envy them haha.

Next wk is still the core training wk. =)

Downright suay. Maybe its my carelessness.

Just a few days ago, a letter was sent to my house stating that my car was driving at a speed exceeding the speed limit at Farrer Road. $150 fine and 6 demerit points. Argh. Dad had to help me pay the fine on his birthday. So sorry.

Then the next day, some Aedas mosquito inspectors came to our estate for inspection. Nobody knew how the hell my house's drain cover was overturned (maybe rain too big overturn, or maybe my maid accidentally overturned it). Anyway, it was turned over and thus a gd place for the mosquitoes to breed. The suay thing was the mosquitoes really breed, and the inspectors came at the 'right' time. They took some samples back and examine. If these are Aedas mosquitoes, then we'll be fine again!! ARGh.

Then just now, I didn't see properly at a traffic light junction and hit lightly onto the lorry infront. The lorry was fine, but my car plate cracked. Luckily it was just a lorry, because if its a normal car I may have caused a huge damage to the car boot.

Now i dont dare to tell my parents about the cracked car plate after dad had helped me in paying the fines.

====================================

My macau trip was quite fun! I didnt go to Hk or Zhu hai, but it was still fun staying in Macau. This time I stayed at Sands hotel.

The highlight of the trip was the Venetian 2nd anniversary concert sang by Eason chen, Xiao zhu, Gu Ju Ji, Joey Yung and Sun Nan. Sort of a free concert paid by dad since all his friends (all aunties and uncles) wanted to watch. My blogger isn't working well or else i can upload those pic.

Dad and his friends were invited to this Baccarat Competition, which unfortunately none of them managed to qualify to the final round. I thought Baccarat was all about luck, but it actually requires some skills in it, just like mj. I guess all of them were a bit disappointed not to qualify because the prizes for this competition were too attractive.

I shopped a little at Macau. The weather was too hot and dry, causing me not to step out of the hotel much. Dad and friends were almost dehydrated when playing golf. I tried my luck at Big, small. At first I won quite a bit but I was too greedy and bored so I continued playing and lost. In the end, no win no lose. Dad told me that once i start to lose $$ I should just leave the table and maybe try my luck on another day. Watched my dad's friends playing at VIP casino, and I thought they were crazy to bet so much. Dad didn't bet much, and I wonder how he could be a VIP haha. Then I looked at the table full of chinese youngsters next to them. They were even more crazy to bet even much more.

I think the Venetian hotel looks like the real venetian!

Again, I felt like VIP in this trip. Transportation was arranged to anywhere we wish to go. We entered through the VIP lobby, we stayed at suite, we ate at VIP room etc. At one time I felt as if my dad's friends own the whole hotel. All thanks to them haha.

After coming back, I starting to have flu. Im not sure if i caught it from my colleagues sharing the same room as me in client's place, or I caught it from macau. My doc has confirmed that it was not H1N1. Phew.

We should be thankful that we are living peacefully and in harmony in this disaster-free, cosmopolitan city.
